You have related so clearly, most of the works we did and how we all feel now that the subject is almost finish and anybody couldn’t say that we haven’t really learnt anything because as you said; if we are enjoying with the things we did and all the interest and effort we put on doing it we are really engaged and we feel comfortable with the projects.

In my opinion, you are completely wright, it has been an adventure this subject and most subjects we have had during the degree because we have tried to do our best in all. I think that we should continue having this disposition in our live, of trying to make our students feel closer to literacy and to the lesson we will explain as teachers, I’m sure they will learn a lot from the best teachers they will ever had. Another reason based on my experience, why we are going to teach our students so well, is because we could know the weakness they could have and we are going to facilitate them the learning process.

Now that we have learnt so much about children literature, we will use most of the resources and activities we have being dealing with and during this term, because they are so funny and it has help us to know each other better and know for example which types of books we used to read when we were younger. Moreover learning how those topics as rhymes and poetry those are a little bit narrower we will make a better approach to them for our students.

To conclude I would add that is not important what other think about how we learnt, the key point is we have learnt and how we are going to transmit those knowledge.

I was commenting last week on a Carmen’s post, because I had the necessity to say something on it! And it was a bit similar of yours.
When I started the subject I felt like: OMG! Are we going to study English literature? ahaha but now I can say that this subject, for me, has been one of the most important on my degree, and one where I have learnt a lot.
One day Matthew told us, that “it doesn’t matter what you know” that the most important thing is what you can do with the things that you know…and I think that this subject represent that…how can you create amazing lesson, and teach a lot of contents, with not expensive materials, or contents full of information. The only thing that you have to do is have patience and!
It’s a little bit sad, see that we are ending this degree, but I am sure that the best things are coming now!
Thank you for your post! It was great read it!
